The Southeast Catholic Class of '52 celebrated their 65th Reunion at Café Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill, NJ on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The Class' longtime leader, John McKenna, was recognized for his tireless efforts to keep the members informed and together with monthly meetings at The Adelphia in Deptford, NJ.
Frank Arnao greeted the guests; John McKenna spoke about the classmates that are no longer with us for which there was a moment of silence. Acting Chaplain, Tom Reilly, had an eloquent prayer and then the hospitality of Lamberti's and the music of Ron Lorenzo was enjoyed.
After the luncheon, John McKenna addressed the group and spoke about the accomplishments that the Class of '52 has had over the years with the scholarship funds and the dedication of Café 52 at Neumann-Goretti High School.
Frank Arnao and Bill Staffieri presented John McKenna with a plaque and clock as appreciation for all that he does to keep the class together. John is the "Glue."
As the festivities came to the end of another memorable reunion, all were given a bag with our Southeast Catholic High School Class of 1952 logo. The parting gift bag contained a polo shirt, a pair of coffee mugs, an umbrella, a few pens as well as a reproduction of a 1950 issue of The Rocket.
Till the next Reunion...God Bless and keep the Class of 1952 in Good Health.
