Due to the generosity of the Saint Maria Goretti and Bishop Neumann Class of 1966, Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School held their first Christmas Tree Lighting on December 19, 2016. The Saint Maria Goretti and Bishop Neumann Class of 1966 donated the lights, plaque and the tree which was planted at the 10th Street entrance of the school. Mass was celebrated in the Chapel and the blessing and lighting of the tree took place immediately after. This is the start of an annual event at the school.
